Fort Worth, TX - Mike Kidd Entertainment
Group (MKEG) - one of the leading motorcycle race producers in the country - is
proud to announce the return of Team Babbit's Kawasaki to the BooKoo Arenacross
Championship Series.
Babbit's Kawasaki will field a 2-rider team for the entire 10-round BooKoo
Arenacross Championship Series. The team, based out of Muskegon Michigan, won
the title chase last year with 3-time Arenacross Champion Josh Demuth who has
now signed with the Holigan BooKoo Supercross Team for the 2007 series.
For the 2007 BooKoo Championship Series, Team Babbit's has signed former
Arenacross National Champion Darcy Lange and top Arenacross challenger Jeff
Northrup.
Darcy Lange will lead the charge of Team Babbit's as both riders will be riding
the KX250f and KX450f in their respective classes. Lange won the 2005 National
Arenacross Series and will be teamed up Jeff Northrup who is one of the
strongest competitors on the series. Northrup is no rookie to arenacross style
racing with several wins and multiple podium finishes throughout his career.
"We have put together our best shot at another BooKoo Arenacross title," said
Denny Bartz, Race Team Manager for Team Babbit's. "With our arenacross
expertise and support from Kawasaki we feel confident we have the strongest
team on the series," Bartz added.
Watch for the team at the opening round in Fresno, CA on November 3-5.
